It is a sometimes explosive mixture of Applied Arts, Fine Arts, a lot of love and some disputes that arise in Colors and cardboard original creations to various appearances whose common point is their building material: cartons and papers (and some glue). Thus small "cow-tables", "shelf-sheep", and many other things, and bright vibrant colors or, conversely, in the rough, natural appearance have been possible in a space restored both colorful and warm. Gilding, manufacture of paints by techniques from the Middle Ages are also the daily life of the workshop: swashes acanthus leaves, dragons and miniature but also poems are illustrated by the medieval process of illumination. The pers. wishing to learn this ancient art can be initiated during the "weekend courses" of the year 2016: 06/07 February, 13/14 February, 12/13 March 02/03 April 07/08 May 04/05 June 09/10 July 06/07 August 17/18 September, 15/16 October Internship weekend 2 days. :from 10h to 13h and 14h to 18h. Each student performs during the training period, one or two illuminations. Price includes materials: € 175 / person. Poss. courses on the application if the proposed dates are not suitable. Discovery courses or 1/2 day for children and adults: workshops discovery of illumination and Heraldry through the manufacture of a medieval initial letter, bookmarks or coat of arms of Lauzerte. Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays except holidays; or every day during school holidays. 1/2 day course: from 14h to 17h.
