The GR65, history and legend ...
The gr®65, also called "Track of the Puy" or "via Podensis", is without doubt the best known of the paths to Santiago de Compostela. It begins in Geneva in Switzerland and joins the col of Roncesvalles in Spain (Presentation of the GR on ffrandonnee.fr). Crossing the Midi-Pyrénées it goes through Aubrac, Conques, Figeac, Cahors, Lauzerte and Moissac, then to Lectoure, Condom, Eauze and Nogaro in the Gers.
From the high plateau of the Aubrac, it winds through bucolic and charming countries. This eclectic path delights by its diversity.
